The Rugby League Super League 2014 Competition returns for another year tonight. To kick off the celebrations the RFL have pit the two strongest teams of 2013 against each other for the first game. Super League Champions the Wigan Warriors will want a repeat of the 2013 season and take on the Huddersfield Giants tonight February 7th. Wigan will be hoping for a good start as they will take on the sydney roosters later in the month for the yearly World Club challenge competition which pits the Winners of the English Super League to take on the might of the NRL winners who in 2013 was the Sydney Roosters. The first round of the super league will go off with a bang with some mouthwatering clashes with Warrington Wolves v St Helens and Hull FC host Catalan Dragons in Hull. The rest of the opening rounds games will see Bradford Bulls v Castleford Tigers, Hull KR v Leeds Rhinos, Salford Red Devils v Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Widnes Vikings v London Broncos. Once again the Magic Weekend 2014 will be held at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester where all teams will play over an action packed weekend with 7 Round 13 games played on Saturday May 17 and Sunday May 18. We will also see the Challenge Cup return to Wembley stadium in London on the 23rd August, will we see an upset on the cards with a championship club getting to the final? The teams will be battling it out through the season with their eye on the prize and to get to the 2014 play off on 18th to the 21st September with the climax to the 2014 season with the Grand Final at the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford in Manchester
